THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLOWER IN THE WORLD

The story goes that a wise king with no heirs, upon seeing that he was growing old, called the most experienced councelors of his in order to decide who will rule the land after he would be gone. He did not agree with any of their proposals, so that, in the evening, he asked his guardian angel, convinced that divine grace would send him the best advice in his sleep. And so it was. The next day, in the morning, the king summoned all the young men in the kingdom, gave them a few seeds and asked them to sow them and grow flowers. He added that the one who would bring back the most beautiful flower would be crowned the future king. When the big day came, the contenders came to the palace, each with his own flower. The play will show who the winner was. The story also goes that, like in fairytales, truth and justice always win.
